T. C. Boyle is the author of nineteen books of fiction, including, most recently, After the Plague (2001), Drop City (2003), The Inner Circle (2004), Tooth and Claw (2005), and Talk Talk (2006).

This event is in part to help raise funds for Red Hen Press’s Writing in the Schools program.

Writing in the Schools gives Los Angeles school students access to modern and contemporary poetry and literary fiction and their authors, engaging young people in literature and the creative life.
