The new eIssue is out and available for free download, as a 1.2 MB PDF. Sixty pages of poetry and reviews, an essay by Gary Lehmann, and original artwork by Mark Vallen.
The issue includes two book features — six poem-excerpts from Laurie Blauner’s All This Could Be Yours and Roy Jacobstein’s prize-winning collection A Form of Optimism.
We’re also unveiling the first annual Neil Postman Award for Metaphor — honoring Mr. Postman’s memory with a $100 prize given each year to the best use of metaphor in our print issues. For more information, download the eIssue, where this year’s winning poem and honorable mention are reprinted.
